A sunny Southend Barns wedding is hard to beat! I had so much sympathy for Rob and Alix as they both were very poorly on their day, travelling all they way from the USA a couple of days before arrival. I must say they soldiered on and it did not get them down. I love how their day felt like a big BBQ with family and friends kicking off their shoes and relaxing on the lawn.

I started my day with Rob who got ready at his mum’s house followed by a stop over at a local pub before heading to Southend Barns. My wife took care of the girls who got ready at Southend Barns in their beautiful bridal room. The ceremony was at the barn as well followed by outdoor speeches before we sat down for the wedding breakfast, love this idea! We had so much fun being part of their day and getting to know both sides of the family.
