So for the last +/- 2 years now I’ve been teaching myself film and what a journey it’s been. This is my first official preview film documented this weekend at Grittenham Barn Weddings for Jan and Charlotte’s day.
Now I’ve only ever done photography and to be clear it’s still my main focus, but I’ve always toyed with the idea of “Hybrid Wedding Photography” and after numerous tests and practise I feel I can offer my couples that extra bit on top that will add to your photography gallery.
It’s still just me on the day, all I do is capture random clips and audio to create a highlight film as an optional extra. To be clear this does not replace a full video team, but it’s that “middle ground” option. Jan and Charlotte got married at the beautiful Grinttenham Barn where Charlotte worked as a young girl so choosing the venue was very personal to the couple. They also got married at the church she attended as a child and got ready in her parents home just around the corner. To say the day was special is a bit of a understatement so below is the highlight film from their day and a set of images that best paints a picture of the celebrations.
